Challenge #146 WOW White on White

Good Morning KennyK fans, Donna here stepping in for Karin this week. Well I don't know what's happening, but we don't seem to have many entrants for the challenges anymore.....what's happening people? Is it the challenge themes? the prizes offered?
We'd really like to know. Please leave a comment and let us know what you'd like to see changed.

Anyways we have a couple winner's for the prizes last week, and good ole Mr. Random has chosen #3 Alvina  for the KennyK Download gift certificate prize of $20
and # 9 Monica for the £10 voucher from Dies to Die for.

Congratulations ladies, if you would please email me Donna at
little-cherub@virginmedia.com I will get your prizes sorted out for you.

Now for some sad news, sadly Sarah has stepped down from the DT due to other commitments including looking after and fostering bulldog terriers. Sarah has been with the team since I first started it back in 2010, so that's a long time, and when I left, Sarah took over.......so Sarah we wish you all the best, and if time permits we'd love to see you enter a challenge from time to time........best of luck to you Sarah, we're gonna miss you.

Now for the

  1. You asked why there are less enteries. In my case a week is to short. Why not a two week challenge. You have great prizes, great challenges and a great DT with beautyfull inspiration. I would love to enter every week, but I have no time enough.

    1. Yes you can color your image Aartje, as long as the card and your embellies are white.

  3. I love using Kenny K's fabulous images and recipients of cards/projects I use them on tend to love them too. Sadly, I can't always meet the weekly challenge. The design team inspiration, prizes and challenge themes are wonderful. It would be supadupa to have a little extra time to enter for a chance to win. Hugz, ~ Rose

  4. I've joined a couple of times in the past. Lately I hardly find the time to blog and I make less cards then I used to, that's the reason for me not to join your, but also other challenges.

  5. I agree with the others saying there's not always enough time to complete the challenge. I always find it especially difficult when you have to use specific brands of images as it means we have to colour and create the card within the week. I totally understand why we have to use Kenny K images but that being the case it's nice to have a little longer to complete a project. XOX Lucy

  6. Totally stunning cards and images used congrats to the winner and top 3 and another great challenge, l think weekly challenges are too short fortnightly might be a better option xx

  7. I too agree a fortnightly challenge would be great I have to work longer hours now so like lots of bloggers struggle with time - two weeks would give me more chance to enter. I look at the challenge every week but sometimes it the next Saturday before I find time to create and I dont always finish on time and the next challenge it up. I love the images and think your DT team are full of inspiration

  8. I love Kenny K's digi stamps and always enjoy creating a card with them!! But like most other crafters I recently struggle with finding the time to blog on a regular basis. :-( I too always check out the weekly challenges (which are always great) and think that "I'll be able to do that later in the week" ......and before you know it the weekend is here again!! So perhaps having a little more time would be great. I think the challenge theme's are fab, prizes are great and inspiration from the DT's are just gorgeous...........so keep up the good work! :-) xx

  9. First of all I couldn`t find the challenge blog when I looked for it...is this the same site as before? Maybe that is one reason??!!

I also agree with the rest, perhaps it`s better to have more time for each challenge. There are so many challenges out there and most people have limited time to create and participate as much as they would like to. :)

  10. I agree that perhaps 2 weeks would be a better time period for the challenge. The prizes are great and I love the new Spotlight too - gives folks a chance to be highlighted for their talent rather than just a random pick :)
It's not just here that the entries are dropping - there seems to be a general dropping off in many sites with too many people just doing Anything Goes challenges and trying to make their project fit at least 100 challenges at once!! (sorry, rant over!)

  11. I think you've had some great challenges, and the prizes are cool. Like others have said, time is tight and one week/challenge isn't enough. Especially with summer coming and other things taking up time (gardening comes to mind as a real time sink).

  12. Great prizes + Great inspirations from the DT but not enough time for me. Each week I tell myself I need to get in but I always forget... Then, there are other challenges too... I agree with Jessica too, summer will eat up most of my time. But keep up the GREAT AWESOME work guys! You rock the team!

  13. I agree with the above posts also and have another suggestion for consideration; if you went with a 2-week time period, what about always having a set date like the 1st and the 15? That would make the time frame super easy to remember.
