Challenge #147A - Father's Day

Howdy-doo and Happy Sunday, everybody! Today is the start of another new challenge here at the Krafty Krew blog. Father's Day is a celebration honoring fathers and celebrating fatherhood, paternal bonds, and the influence of fathers in society. Many countries celebrate it on the third Sunday of June, but it is also celebrated widely on other days. Father's Day was inaugurated in the United States in the early 20th century to complement Mother's Day in celebrating fatherhood and male parenting. This week, we are celebrating those wonderful, often underappreciated, but always important men in our lives.... our fathers! These men have had a huge influence on the women we have become and we should give them the credit they are due. Next Sunday is the day we dedicate to our dads, our husbands, our children's fathers.

Challenge #143 - Steampunk

Happy Mother's Day, Kenny K fans! That's right, it's the day we, in the U.S. celebrate the most important woman in our lives... our mothers. Annie here today to host the new challenge for the coming week. As I have lots of things still to do, I am going to keep the introductions short and to the point this time. The theme this time is a fun one... Steampunk!! A bit unusual for a Mother's Day theme, I know, but a good one nonetheless.
