I'm astounded that we're only a few days from being a third of the way through the year already!! Does it seem to anyone else that we just recovered from the winter holiday season and now, here we are, heading straight into summer! At this pace, the holidays will come around again waaaay before I'm ready for that to happen.

Challenge #139 - Dies and Punches

Helllllo and Happy Sunday, KennyK fans!

What’s the weather like where YOU are? I have been working a customer service job and in that position, I talk to people all over the country. It seems that whenever there is an uncomfortable pause in the conversation, the subject always turns to weather. I have heard reports of thunderstorms, warm and sunny, high winds and snow all in the last 4 days from different areas around the U.S.!  I’m not sure why I find that interesting but to add to the intrigue, I also heard that the meteorologists at Colorado State University have predicted a very active Atlantic hurricane season this year. They are estimating that there will be 18 named storms, 9 hurricanes and of the 9, 4 will be major hurricanes. Sounds like we may be dodging bullets this year!

Okay, so that bit of information has nothing whatsoever to do with paper crafting or Kenny K’s incredible artwork. I just thought those of you who live in hurricane-prone areas within the U.S might want to start filling jugs with water and stocking up on batteries, propane and canned foods now while there is ample supply. LOL!

On a sad note, our sweet, talented Amy has found it necessary to step down from her place on the design team due to scheduling conflicts caused by some non-crafting projects she is working on. We'll all miss you, Amy!
